Fund Raising

While the BSA is an outstanding venue for your son to learn valuable life skills, it all does not happen without costs. In order to provide the best program we can provide, we are constantly needing to purchase tents, stoves and other camping equipment. In order to not dip into the pocket of the parents or leaders, we try to do different fund raisers throughout the year. Some are ongoing and some are a single date. Here are the fund raising endeavors we currently run.

CELL PHONES

We are collecting your old outdated cellphones. To fill out a flyer, with your name as the contact, click HERE or you can click HERE to print out one with the contact info already filled out. The phone(s) can be brought to our meetings, on Monday nights, starting at 7pm. A list of cell phones, that actually have worth, is at Pacebutler.com but you can give us anything and we will ensure it gets recycled.
For those parents who might like to send in the phones directly, and give the troop the money later - you can send the phones directly to the company we are using. A pre-addressed label can be obtained HERE!

INK CARTRIDGES

Recycle those old printer cartridges! Our preference is for cartridges that appear on this list. These can also be brought to the regular meetings mentioned above.

ALUMINUM CANS

This is an easy one. Everyone gets those aluminum beverage cans. Bring them bagged to the meeting and we will store them in the shed until we have a sufficient amount to make a run to the salvage yard. Please, please. please... (Did I mention "Please?") crush the cans! It will make it SOOOO much easier to transport.

SPAGHETTIE DINNER & PANCAKE BREAKFAST!

Everyone loves to eat! Once a year we run a spaghettin dinner, and a pancake breakfast. They are held in Fellowship Hall, at the Bensalem United Mothodist Church, 4300 Hulmeville Road. These events will be listed on our Calendar, and will be prominently displayed on the main page as the event draws near.
